Kent Collins, Au.D., FAAA, CCC-A is the Director of TeleHearing for the Starkey HearCare Network. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. He is a Licensed Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist in most states throughout the country.
Dr. Collins earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, followed by his Master of Science in Audiology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He completed his education at Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, where he earned his Doctor of Audiology degree.
Dr. Collins specializes in adult diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. His expertise includes hearing instrument selection and fitting, aural rehabilitation, and counseling. Before joining the Starkey HearCare Network, Dr. Collins practiced at a large ear, nose, and throat (ENT) clinic and was Regional Sales Manager for a leading hearing aid manufacturer where he provided professional training and technical support.
He has served as the President of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology and also sat on the Board of Directors while chairing the Nominations and Elections Committee. Throughout his educational career, Dr. Collins consistently was on the Dean’s list for academic achievement and was honored to be chosen for the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Dr. Collins grew up on a farm in rural western Minnesota and currently resides in the Twin Cities with his wife and two sons. He enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, and landscaping around the house.

Dr. Collins has successfully treated thousands of patients throughout the country connecting them again with the sounds of their loved ones’ voices.
Jackie Hoppenrath, Licensed Audiologist, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University followed by her Master of Arts Degree in Audiology from Western Michigan University.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is a Licensed Dispensing Audiologist in several states. Her goal is to be a licensed audiologist in all states.
Jackie joined Starkey HearCare after 20+ years of working in various audiologic settings. Her experience includes: Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, hospital clinics, private practice audiology and hearing services clinics, audiologist and trainer at major hearing aid manufacturer.
A wife and mother of two, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, whether it is camping, reading, attending various sporting and school events and volunteering at church or other community outreach programs. Her favorite outreach program is working with her husband and children to teach Bystander CPR and AED use.
